It was recently announced by Mac Miller’s estate that a presumably final and posthumous album would be coming soon. Entitled ‘Circles’, Miller was deep into the recording process of this album at the time of his death. It was meant to be the counterpart and companion to ‘Swimming’. Given the blessing by his family, producer Jon Brion took on the task of finishing the project that way he believed Miller would intended. He closely collaborated with Miller on the Swimming album, so the family felt it was right.

With Circles due for a January 17 release, it’s only right that a single be released in anticipation. With that comes a new song called “Good News”. this new track, along with  music video, has fans and social media collectively in their feelings as this seems to peak Mac and a fitting way to close things on his legacy.
