Proving he could successfully release an album without a label behind him, Mac Miller will likely sign with a label in the future. Knowing the system in place can work, Mac Miller is likely enjoying the freedom, as he has continued releasing mixtapes.
His latest project is Pink Slime, which Mac Miller discussed with VIBE TV on the red carpet of the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. While did not perform and did not win any awards, Mac Miller did present an award, as did Wiz Khalifa.
