Who would have ever thought the biggest artist on Bad Boy Records would be a skinny white kid from the Midwest? Certainly, very few imagined this for Bad Boy Records back in 1994 when the label was pushing Craig Mack and The Notorious B.I.G. Drastic changes were made over the years and Bad Boy Records reinvented itself time and time again.

With Machine Gun Kelly, Diddy has a good thing going and he is well aware of this, given the renewed energy where his label is concerned. It once looked as if Bad Boy Records was completely on its way out. Diddy’s focus was more on his other businesses and his label was floundering.

Machine Gun Kelly is now the focal point and he is working on his Black Flag mixtape, which does not yet have a release date. However, the “Peso” single featuring Meek Mill and Pusha T is doing well. Recently in Philadelphia, Machine Gun Kelly talked to Hip Hop Since 1987 about his upcoming work.
