Over the weekend, hip hop fans around the world feared for Lil Wayne’s life, after TMZ reported he was comatose at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Before his health scare, Lil Wayne was involved in two controversial stories. The Young Money leader caught fire when he mentioned Emmett Till on Future’s “Karate Chop” and he also dissed Chris Bosh.
Rick Ross caught a lot of attention taking the game over with Maybach Music. Known for being a relatively popular rapper, Rick Ross became the game’s biggest rapper, period. In the same period of time, he signed several rappers to his label and gained attention. Often overlooked is Mack Maine, who exchanged his rap career for the boardroom.
Sway Calloway recently sat down with Mack Maine for MTV’s “RapFix Live.” During the interview, the two talked about Lil Wayne. Mack Maine already blasted TMZ for their false reports and he explained why he did that and it was because of him being beside Lil Wayne throughout the whole ordeal.
