Last year, Mack Wilds dropped an amazing album in New York: A Love Story, which boasted the “Own It” single. When he was doing the promotion for the album, Mack Wilds took time out to personally to talk to Hip Hop Vibe. It was a great experience to meet and interview him, as he spoke on his new music.
Mack Wilds, for those who don’t know, first entered the entertainment industry as an actor. He played on such shows as HBO’s “The Wire” and The CW’s “90210,” having major roles in both. But, music was Mack Wilds’ passion and he found a way to get the music out there.
Hot 97 held Summer Jam this past weekend and HotNewHipHop was on deck with Ashlee Ray. She caught up with Mack Wilds and they had a brief conversation about how he transitioned from acting to singing. They also talked about New York hip hop and radio play.
