Mack Wilds is the talk of New York right now because he just released his newest project, which is called New York: A Love Story. Most people might be familiar with Mack Wilds for his role on HBO’s “The Wire.” That phase in his life came when he was pushing himself as actor Tristan Wilds, but now he’s Mack Wilds.
During the summer, Mack Wilds released his “Own It” single with Maino that went on to become a minor hit. “Own It” did enough to place the focus on Mack Wilds and help him to introduce the rest of his project. The song was good enough for people to accept him as an artist, as opposed to an actor.
Mack Wilds explained how he was separating himself from being an actor into becoming an artist on Power 105.1 Talking to Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee for their “The Breakfast Club” trio, Mack Wilds talked about his acting career. He spoke on growing up in New York and New York: A Love Story.
