Madonna speaks on TIDAL’s struggles, saying it’s early and they are still working out kinks

When thinking of TIDAL, many quickly associate Jay Z and then they point out all of the failures of the company. Those people are not paying attention, however. The owner of TIDAL is not just Jay Z, it also includes Beyonce, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, J. Cole, Daft Punk, and Madonna.

The goal of TIDAL is for artists to own their own music and the service, therefore guaranteeing profit on their music. Easier said than done, as people have not taken to TIDAL as anticipated. With rumors of Kanye West jumping ship, not every artist has doubts.

Recently, Madonna spoke on TIDAL in an interview. During this conversation, she explained that they did not join TIDAL because they are broke, they did it to create a platform where everyone prospers. Doing TIDAL allows them to support other artists and the platform is early, so Madonna says they are still working out kinks.
