One of the toughest jobs is that of a delivery person, simply due to being chased. Having to go to people’s homes is always a difficult situation. People who work these kinds of jobs have to deal with all kinds of people and animals. So, one man delivering the mail ended up in a situation that could’ve gone either way. He was in a wealthy neighborhood and he walked up to a woman’s house. Clearly, the woman was scared when he walked up. First, he made it clear he was dropping off mail. Second, he made it clear he’s not O.J.
When delivery workers, regardless of the company, go out, they face all kinds of risks. There have been actual instances of people having to encounter wild animals. In addition, they’re running the risk of dogs and other domestic pets going after them. This goes without mentioning situations like the people who end up harassing delivery people. They do this in spite of having products being delivered to them. As a result, something this simple can be life threatening. Knowing all of this, this man who was bringing the mail instantly defused the situation.
Recently, a woman was at the front of her home. A man came up delivering the mail. The woman wasn’t expecting him. Also, he likely didn’t fit the neighborhood. As a result, the woman ended up making it clear she was scared. However, once she realized the man was just the mailman, she immediately calmed down. Further defusing the situation, the man joked with her. When he told her “I’m not O.J.,” he made her laugh.
