Maino addresses “What Happened…” on “Sway In The Morning” [VIDEO]

This summer, a lot was said about New York hip hop and a lot of rappers from the area have stepped up in the wake of it. A few years ago, a lot of people felt Maino would be the one to restore New York to glory. When there weren’t many people tuning into the hip hop in New York, Maino made people pay attention to him.

Following the “king of New York” debate this summer, Maino delivered a song in response to this. His current single is called “What Happened…,” with the sub-title being “To My City.” Jadakiss is featured on the record and they questioned what happened to New York City.
