Maino disses Trinidad James on Twitter over New York comments and calls out NYC rappers for being soft

Ever since French Montana’s breakout year of 2011 and all the other New York rappers to emerge, many people said New York was back on top. There were some who said the city had more to do to fully get back. Kendrick Lamar showed this when he jumped on “Control,” when he called himself the king of New York, sparking debate.

During the midst of the king of New York debate, a lot of people felt Maino should be brought up in the discussion. When there were few people who were paying attention to the New York hip hop scene, Maino was the one making hits. With the renewed focus on the New York hip hop scene, Maino is still making hits.

Trinidad James is the latest rapper to call out New York hip hop and Maino caught wind of it and offered a response. Going on Twitter, Maino called out Trinidad James, poking fun of his teeth and prompting a response. Maino was equally angry with the New York rappers who didn’t respond.
