Closing out the year of 2014, Maino is releasing King of Brooklyn 2, the sequel of his first project in 2014. Early this year, Maino started the year off right and he has had plenty of success since then. Following his defense of New York hip hop from late last year into early this year, Maino has put in a lot of work.

Maino is a major part of the recent success in the New York hip hop scene. Before the all out decline, he was one of the first new artists from New York City to have breakout success. He had both the summer of 2008 and 2009 on lock with his respective singles, “Hi Hater” and also “All The Above.”

Recently, Maino paid a visit to Power 105.1 to chat with “The Breakfast Club.” He got quick jokes in on DJ Envy and Angela Yee and then shared some laughs with Charlamagne Tha God before getting into it. Maino discussed King of Brooklyn 2, his role as a father, his history with Angela Yee, his arrest, and much more.
