Maino talks “King of Brooklyn,” New York hip hop, and working with Meek Mill, Troy Ave, and Jadakiss with “Sway in the Morning” [VIDEO]
Back when New York was struggling to maintain a position in the game, Maino was making hits and representing the city. There were a lot of things many people were somewhat afraid to say, but Maino spoke up. Even now with a lot of New York rappers emerging, Maino is still speaking up for the NY scene.
Trinidad James said some things about New York last year and it was Maino who confronted him. Months after the situation went down, Maino explained that he does not have beef with Trinidad James, nor did he ever. But, they did manage to reach an agreement.
Maino recently released hisĀ King of Brooklyn project, which is making a major impact on the game. Currently, Maino is making his media rounds in promotion of the project and he discussed the new EP and much more with Sway for “Sway In The Morning” on Shade 45. He also talked about the New York hip hop scene, working with Meek Mill, Troy Ave, and Jadakiss, along with more topics.
