Maino talks new hits, old slaps, Nipsey Hussle, “Love & Hip Hop,” and more on “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

The New York hip hop scene has seen Maino hold it down, while many rappers were claiming king. There was a time when Maino looked like the throne belonged to him. Back in 2011, Maino got himself back on the radio, with “That Can Be Us” picking up, late in the year.

Maino was reintroduced to the masses, late last year, when he joined the “Love & Hip Hop” cast. The veteran rapper came, alongside his girlfriend, Maggie. Here, they had the typical relationship drama, meanwhile Maino was the voice of reason.

Recently, Maino stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” getting a conversation in with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. The conversation began with music, before shifting into Nipsey Hussle’s death. Of course, he also talked about being on “Love & Hip Hop,” this past season.
