Maino talks Trinidad James beef, “King of Brooklyn,” and more with Hot 97 [VIDEO]
Last week, Maino released his new project, King of Brooklyn, which is doing pretty good numbers online. This project is Maino’s way of entering his name in the whole debate over New York hip hop, officially. Before this, Maino and Trinidad James got into it over his comments about New York hip hop.
Maino has done well with his music over the past six years and he has a few hits under his belt. All this continued with the release of his new EP, which featured appearances from Chinx, Uncle Murda, and Troy Ave, along with more. On this project, Maino made sure to represent Brooklyn.
Hot 97 invited Maino to come visit them and he talked to Peter Rosenberg, DJ Cipha Sounds, and Laura Stylez. In their conversation, Maino talked about his King of Brooklyn project and the impact it’s having. Maino also talked about the Trinidad James situation, explaining that it was never a beef, and he broke down how the game goes in each city.
