Maino talks Trinidad James beef with “The Breakfast Club” [AUDIO]
Given the way things were going for Trinidad James, in a month or two, the whole world would’ve forgotten about him. No knock on the artist, but Trinidad James has failed to have a lasting impact since “All Gold Everything.” There was a brief period when “Females Welcomed” had its spot.
However, Trinidad James wanted to ensure people talking about him and he got his wish this week. Since New York hip hop is a hot button issue anyway, Trinidad James decided to pitch his two cents. The Atlanta rapper said his city runs the nonexistent hip hop scene in New York City.
Maino stepped up to the plate and he has confronted Trinidad James over his statements, as has Charlamagne Tha God. Both were dissed by Trinidad James on his new record, so Charlamagne alongside his “Breakfast Club” family of Angela Yee and DJ Envy, interviewed Maino. They spoke live on Power 105.1 about Trinidad James.
