Lil Durk has come a long way to now be considered one of the top rappers in the game. During that original 2012 Chicago run, Durk wasn’t even the most known member of his crew. Back then, he was under the shadow of several artists. Now, Durk is the only person relevant from that run. Not only are his concerts sold out, but also, people are fighting at them. Two women got into a situation at a recent show. As a result, one of the women’s sons jumped in and began fighting the other woman.
Lil Durk went on a run that came with both hard work and learning the business. There was a time when everyone, Durk included, felt he was almost done making music. What he learned from the business was enough for him to get on the business side, as an executive. However, the passing of King Von changed a lot of things for him. As a result, he ended up releasing music more consistently. The 2020-2021 period saw Durk emerge as one of the top five most popular rappers.
Lil Durk now has a signature single to his name, “All My Life,” with J. Cole. In addition, he has several other anthems that have the streets and the internet on lock. As a result, Durk’s popularity shows up in more than just streaming numbers. Also, he has a dedicated fan base. Outside of one of his concerts, two women got into a heated physical altercation. One of the women had her son with her. Once he saw what was going on, he ended up beating up the woman fighting his mother.
