Respect is the main thing missing from society. Apparently, this is not just an American thing, either. In Canada, a 37-year-old father lost his life at Starbucks. Of all of the places a person could face harm, Starbucks is probably the last place most would assume. However this man met his unfortunate demise there. It stemmed from the father asking a man not to vape in front of his daughter. In turn, the man stabbed the 37-year-old man.

Common decency is another thing of the past, so it seems. There used to be a time when people simply didn’t do certain things in front of children. As soon as smoking was proven to be harmful, there were many people who didn’t expose children to it. After all, their bodies are still developing. Health issues could stem from being exposed to cigarette smoke. Recently, vaping has proved to be harmful. As a result, it may not be in the best interest of a child for a person to vape in front of them.

Being a parent, the primary job is to ensure the safety of one’s children. For all of the bad parents in the world, there are also the good ones. The good parents would lay down their own lives to ensure the safety of their children. In Canada, a 37-year-old man took his daughter and fiancée out to Starbucks. Here, he had an encounter with a man who was vaping. When the man asked him to not do it in front of his child, he didn’t imagine paying with his life. Sadly, this is what happened, as the man vaping stabbed him.
