It can be hard to do the right thing and avoid temptation, depending on who’s doing the tempting. An old saying goes “there’s a time and place for everything.” Typically, it’s best to avoid and resist temptation on the job. This is especially true, when everybody is watching. Recently, a video went viral of a woman dancing suggestively at Fenway Park. All of her focus was on a man working security. As a result, he was looking at everything but her.
There are numerous reasons for this man to have been intentionally ignoring her. First of all, the man was on the job. Had he given into the flirting, the fact that he would’ve been caught on camera, and exposed on social media would have hurt his reputation. Second, there’s a chance that the man was either married, or in a relationship. Anything aside from what he did would’ve made for some uncomfortable conversations when he got home. So, this man behaved.
It’s not clear exactly when this situation took place. Because it took place at Fenway Park, the video is at least three weeks old. After all, the Boston Red Sox played their last game on October 1. Given what was going on in the video, nobody was actually focused on the game, or the Red Sox’s schedule. Instead, all of the focus was aimed towards this woman and the Fenway Park worker. The more she danced, the more he made it obvious he was ignoring her. Meanwhile, she laughed at his resistance.
