A few years ago, there was a campaign to end gang violence. Every year, numerous lives are lost due to gang activity. As a result, young people are encouraged to stay away from gangs. At the same time, gang culture has become very prominent. Many phrases adopted by pop culture originated from gangs. Still, the actual lifestyle is very dangerous. One woman representing learned this the hard way. She said the wrong thing, leading to a member knocking her out.
It’s often said that many people join gangs for a sense of belonging. One of the primary reasons gang culture is popular is because of rappers. Many of the most popular rappers in the industry proport themselves to be members of gangs. As a result, the millions of kids looking up to them begin to make claims that they, too, are members of those gangs. Sometimes, some people go overboard with such claims.
One woman should have learned a valuable lesson about gangs. First, she was on Facebook Live where she was admitting to gang activity. She was talking to a man who went unseen on the camera. But she asked the man if he knew someone. Apparently, the person she was asking about is also active on the gang scene. When the man said he didn’t know the person, the woman said he might not be the gangster he claims to be. After that, the unseen man punched the woman in the face, knocking her out.
