Man meets woman on dating app and kidnaps her

Online dating comes with its dangers. In the 1990s, many sitcoms warned about people meeting each other from the internet. However, in the 2010s, online dating became the norm. Ever since, there have been all kinds of reports of mishaps coming from people dating online. Truthfully, there is a risk that comes with meeting people in any kind of form, for the first time. Whether it’s dating, or a friendship, people are capable of anything. However, one woman spent her first date tied up in her potential suitor’s mom’s basement.

At an alarming rate, people of all races, ages, and genders are going missing. It is mind boggling how people disappear without a trace. In every case, it is often said that “someone knows something.” When people begin to speculate, they always say it could be the person next door. In this situation, this was quite literally the case. A man was signed up on one of those dating profiles, a woman was his match, and she took a chance on him. Unfortunately, this chance she took almost cost her life.

On Sunday, apparently, the woman went on the date with the man. Both have gone unnamed, as the woman went missing on Sunday. However, on Monday, she and the man ended up at an auto parts store. Battered and bruised, the woman explained to the cashier what was going on. After that, the man came in the store and got her, driving off in a white vehicle. Police found the man’s vehicle at his mother’s house. The woman was being held in the basement. According to police, the mother had no idea what was going on.
