Man mistakes wallet for gun and attacks a guy over it
Danger is often closer than most people realize it is. As a result, it’s important for people to be vigilant at all times. However, sometimes people can be a little too focused on a bad outcome. Recently, a video showed a man at a gas station. A woman was pumping the man’s gas. Suddenly, the man reached into his pocket. This caused the woman to duck for cover. Meanwhile, a man from across the parking lot ran to confront the man.
Before anyone questions why the man’s gas was pumped for him, it’s illegal for a person to pump their own gas in New Jersey. The same was true for the state of Oregon, until August of this year. In addition, most gas stations have a life of their own. Most gas stations are either locally owned, or owned by independent companies. As a result, each location may have their own unique set of rules that allow them to operate how they do.
One thing is for sure, a person out to do harm isn’t concerned with rules. After getting his gas pumped, a man reached for his wallet. Admittedly, the manner in which he did it more akin to someone pulling a gun out. As a result, the woman who just finished pumping the man’s gas initially ran. Also, a man watching from across the parking lot ran over to confront the man. However, when he got there, he saw the man only had his wallet, which resulted in a good laugh.
