Man runs over doctor and fatally stabs him claims to be Jesus
People are strange and seem to get more strange by the day. The levels of cruelty people so carelessly show is alarming. What makes it worse is when people do wrong and then try to use religious figures to justify it. A man in California ended up intentionally taking the life of an innocent doctor. After doing it, the man says he has no regrets. This man says he is Jesus Christ and that was his reason for taking the man’s life.
Vanroy Evan Smith is the man behind this heinous crime. Prior to claiming the life of this man, on the highway, he was an accountant. Apparently, Vanroy Evan Smith has had some kind of psychotic break, given the crime he committed. In addition, there is the actions he took after he committed the crime. According to records, Smith was an accountant with his own business, but the business went bankrupt in 2014.
Over the weekend, Vanroy Evan Smith was driving his Lexus, when he ran into Dr. Michael John Mammone. Mammone was an emergency room physician, who did everything in his power to save the lives of whomever he encountered. Sadly, he passed away, after being ran over and stabbed by Smith. As he claimed Dr. Mammone’s life, Smith reportedly shouted racially insensitive comments, such as “White privilege.” Both men were fathers of two, Mammone two sons, and Smith twin daughters that his ex-wife was fighting for full custody of.
Smith is being held under a $1 million bond.
