Rightfully so, Tariq (Michael Rainey, Jr.) has been painted as the villain, on “Power,” for getting Raina (Donshea Hopkins) killed. But, everybody has overlooked Ray Ray (Marcus Callender) for his actions. Come on, this is the dude who PULLED THE TRIGGER on Raina.
However, most “Power” viewers have overlooked Ray Ray, probably because he is a minor character. Those who watched the season finale know Ray Ray is a dead character, courtesy of Tariq. After what he did, it was only fitting for him to receive payback.
Marcus Callender sat down with Hot 97’s Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. He talked about some of the backlash he has received, personally, for Ray Ray killing Raina. After speaking on his own history of viewing “Power,” Callender explained why Ray Ray should have killed Tariq.
