Monroe Cannon, the daughter of Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey is showing everyone her parent’s aren’t the only talented ones in the family. Recently, Monroe joined her mother on stage to perform for the first time. Mariah and Monroe sang a duet together, during a Christmas concert as fans everywhere watched in amazement. The mother and daughter duo stole the show, as Monroe sang beautifully following her mother’s lead.

Mariah Carey is one of the most awarded and iconic musicians of all time. Breaking records in music for over thirty decades, her impact to pop culture continues to grow. Aside from her classic ballads, Mariah is also known as the Christmas Queen, with her single, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” which went diamond in 2021. Today’s artists also acknowledge and use Mariah for their own inspiration. Recently, Latto sampled Mariah’s song, “Fantasy,” on her single “Big Energy.” This collaboration led to a surprise performance together at the 2022 BET Awards.

Aside from her influence, Mariah is a devoted and loving mother to two children. Although her and ex husband Nick Cannon are divorced, they remain devoted parents to twins Monroe and Moroccan.
