Two years ago, Mariah Carey was wrapping her lone season as a judge on the FOX hit, “American Idol.” The season with Mariah Carey was one of the highest-rated in show history. This was the season Nicki Minaj also signed on to judge on the show.

Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj clashed within the first few episodes of the show. Viewers tuned in to see what Nicki Minaj would say to Mariah Carey next. In one particular episode, Nicki Minaj called Mariah Carey “sir,” leading to many laughs online.

It’s been a couple of years since Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj had to see each other frequently. The fact that they no longer have to be around each other makes Mariah Carey a very happy woman. Recently, Mariah Carey addressed her time on “American Idol” and she said the show was the worst experience of her life.
