In a letter written by Keoni Johnson, a young black man, he claimed the owner, Mark, asked him if his first name was Malcolm, when he told him he had an iPhone X, and that he immediately left him, when a white man, wearing Confederate attire, walked in, to assist him. Meanwhile, reviews of the business accuse The Broken iPhone of being both dishonest and racist. The Broken iPhone's Instagram page also called Jamie Foxx a racist and said "f*ck you to Nike."

Throughout the US, many local business owners have had their opinions on the social situations going on. Many people have questioned why businesses only hire certain types of people. These questions have now been answered.

In Mobile, Alabama, there is an iPhone repair shop, called The Broken iPhone. The store is owned by a man named Mark, and it looks as if few people have good things to say about him, or the business. In spite of this, The Broken iPhone continues to drum up customers.

The customers of The Broken iPhone have put the business and its owner, Mark, on blast. Several Instagram posts from The Broken iPhone have resurfaced, where they insult Nike and George Floyd. On Twitter, there are retweets of tweets insulting Justin Timberlake for supporting Floyd, an open letter from a black man who had him look at his iPhone X, only to be asked if his first name was “Malcolm,” and also calling Jamie Foxx a racist.
