Despite having similar career backgrounds, Marques Houston and Ray J appear to be far from friends. Both were child actors, who have had tremendous success in the music industry. The big difference comes with reality TV.
Since 2008, Ray J has made himself into the reality TV king. That has transferred into the success of his Raycon Global company, which appears to be his next move. Meanwhile, Marques Houston has fallen back on acting, with roles in independent films.
Marques Houston and Ray J did briefly share one scene on the final season of “One on One,” in 2006. But, a simple search of the two, on Googile, shows a history of animosity. Nothing has come from either side, since 2010, but Ray J did get into it with J-Boog, of B2K, in 2017, on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.”
Rumor has it, Marques Houston is also joining the cast, so it could be a renewal of their beef, or a chance to leave it all in the past.
