In four days, Donald Trump will become president and that is a scary fact for millions of people. Specifically, the black communities are nervous about what a Donald Trump presidency will bring. Even more alarming to many is the black people Trump has met with.
During the weekend, just hours after D.L. Hughley put out his scathing anti-Trump video, Trump insulted John Lewis on Twitter. His tweets about Lewis caused much uproar on social media. Once again, Trump did little to endear himself to the black community.
Martin Luther King III met with Donald Trump at Trump Tower, this afternoon. Following the meeting, King III briefly spoke with the press about the conversation. Like the others, he said he feels Trump is serious about making a positive change, but brushed off the John Lewis questions by stating that the less fortunate need assistance.
