Many fans have wondered where Mary J. Blige has been over the past couple of years. To her credit, she has dropped one album in the 2010s and has her Drake feature. Outside of that, Mary J. has been very quiet, however.

Mary J. Blige has returned in a big way in 2016 and she explained her marital life was to blame. The past few years, her marriage was in trouble, and she finally decided to let it go. That decision has brought her back to the spotlight.

This morning, Mary J. Blige did “Good Morning America,” both performing and doing an interview. While the interview is sure to also take center stage, Mary J. Blige’s performance blew people away. Early this morning, fans had “Thick of It” trending on Twitter, as they were in love with her performance.
