Yesterday, Mary J. Blige became one of the top news stories, as it was revealed that she and her husband were filing for divorce. After twelve years, she and Michael “Kindu” Isaacs have called it quits. As of press time, Isaacs remains her manager, however.
Despite the bad news of Mary J. Blige ending her marriage, Twitter had a different spin on it. Yesterday, the people on Twitter began talking about Mary J.’s next album. They expect it to be a return to her style prior to No More Drama, which was very dark, but soulful.
Mary J. Blige isn’t focused on making any music, right now, however. It may be a little while before Mary J. Blige releases any new music, as she has personal matters to tend to. This afternoon, Mary J. Blige released a statement regarding her divorce.
