Currently, Bad Boy Records is back in the headlines, but one of their earlier stars is in comeback mode. Following the death of The Notorious B.I.G., Mase became the new focal point of the label. But, right when he absorbed the spotlight, Mase retired from the game to become a pastor.
Ten years ago, Mase made his original comeback, but has since reverted to his earlier hardcore style. Somewhat in between now, Mase released his “Why Can’t We” single off his upcoming album, Now We Even. The artwork for the single was a eye-catcher, but especially true for one model.
The model, Stephanie Delgado, known as Stephanie Rio, is mad at Mase for using her in the cover. The “Why Can’t We” cover features her without permission, as he got her photo off Instagram. Stephanie Delgado filed a lawsuit against Mase, says TMZ, who is suing for $60,000 in royalties and $180,000 in damages.
