Speaking of the 1990s, the era right before the early 2000s, Mase was the hottest rapper in the game. Mase emerged right after the death of The Notorious B.I.G. and became the biggest rapper, alongside Puff Daddy. Bad Boy Records was firmly on top of the game, until Mase retired in favor of pastoring.

Mase returned to the game in 2004 and he since remained a popular mixtape rapper, working with all the current biggest names. But, Mase is working on some new projects and a new album in the works. He is preparing the Now We Even album for release later this year.

Bootleg Kev recently hosted Mase on Wild 94.1 and he talked about his current career. He reunited with Puff Daddy on Troy Ave’s remix to “Your Style” and he spoke on their reunion. Mase also spoke on Big L and his upcoming album, which will be his fourth release.
