Master P announces he is the owner of New Orleans Gators, a pro basketball team that welcomes players of both genders [PHOTO]
Five years ago, Master P was the last person people expected to be a breakout star. Though he would often return to announce new material, he’d often disappear. He was last relevant, early in 2004. Ever since, he was seemingly retired. It looked like he was focused on his business ventures.
Master P returned to releasing music in 2012. As a result, he gained stronger footing in 2013 and 2014, before returning to the spotlight in 2015. An interview on “The Breakfast Club,” where he broke down his business success kicked it off. Then, he became a reality TV star.
It looks like Master P is done with his ReelzChannel show, as the “Growing Up Hip Hop” brand has taken off. Now, Master P is back in the business of basketball. A couple of days ago, it was revealed that P is the owner of the New Orleans Gators, a team in a new league, for men and women, the GMGB.
