Rick Ross gave fans a week to get prepared for his press conference, where he was going to make a number of announcements. The press conference is still ongoing, but so far there has been a lot of information revealed. Earlier today, it seemed as if friendly rival, Cash Money Records, had taken the spotlight, announcing the deal with We the Best, but Rick Ross managed to re-steal his own show.

Appearances have been made by Wale, Meek Mill, Swizz Beatz, Diddy, Rick Ross, and Omarion, who is the latest addition to Maybach Music. Each Maybach Music artist who spoke revealed a new release date for a Maybach release when they spoke. With nothing but mixtapes out, Maybach Music Group has been dominating the rap game. Wale revealed the release date for Self Made, Vol. 2 for June 26, 2012.

Meek Mill followed Wale and revealed his debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, which will be released on August 28. Rick Ross revealed none of the music that has been released from him will be included on God Forgives, I Don’t, which is due on July 31. In the coming weeks, Rick Ross will release the first official single from his long-awaited fifth album, which Rick Ross calls his masterpiece. Wale’s third studio album is also due, but he will play 2012 on the sidelines and release his new project in 2013.

French Montana also made an appearance, along with Omarion who revealed the trailer for his new music video.
