When it comes to the hip hop legends, MC Lyte is a name that should be more than thrown around. In life, women are always looked at as the inferior gender, despite all that they do. This is especially true in hip hop, but MC Lyte helped to even the playing field.
MC Lyte has a bevvy of classic music under her belt. She showed love always and represented hip hop in everything she did. Back in the mid-2000s, MC Lyte was cast in “Half & Half” and, there, she played the role of a record executive.
This week, Hot 97 had MC Lyte come through for their Throwback Thursdays edition. MC Lyte came in and had a lot to discuss with Ebro and Laura Stylez. The interview saw her talk about the possibility of settling down with a husband and kids, before she talked about the state of the femcee, rap beef, and much more.
