Meek Mill and Jay Z Announce Joint Venture Deal With Their Dreamchasers and Roc Nation Labels

Today’s been one full of wins for Meek Mill. His unjust 2008 conviction was thrown out by the Pennsylvania Superior Court. A retrial is unlikely due to having to deal with the dirty cop in Philly who abused Meek and biased judge, Genece Brinkley.

Now, Meek is announcing that a joint venture deal between his Dreamchasers label and Jay Z’s Roc Nation. It’s titled DreamChasers Records. The two have collaborated on records before such as Meek’s “What’s Free” record feat. Jay and Rick Ross off of his “Championships” album. The two also helped jumpstart the criminal justice reform group, REFORM with Philadelphia Sixers majority shareholder Michael Rubin and New England Patriots majority shareholder Robert Kraft.

“Coming into the music industry, of course, there’s always the people you admire, there’s not too many people I admire on a music level and a business level and on like, as a man level,” said Meek to CBS’ Gayle King. “So doing business with Hov is like, like even when we talk I always explain it to him like that that was crazy, it’s a regular day for you but this is a part of my dreams being in this situation”.
