In a matter of months, Shyne made an enemy out of everyone who is relevant in today’s rap game. Shyne called out Rick Ross and Drake, early on, making all kinds of accusations about the two rappers, including Diddy saying Ross stole his flow. On Twitter, Shyne got into a beef with Coke Boy Brock, before moving on to Kendrick Lamar.
Game took it upon himself to take Shyne to task for going after Kendrick Lamar, a frequent collaborator and fellow Los Angeles-area artist. Rick Ross has ignored most of the disses Shyne laid out for him. Meek Mill, on the other hand, has responded to a few of them, but is primarily focused on Cassidy.
Today, Shyne called Rick Ross “Donnie Brasco” on Twitter and Meek Mill replied, saying he is hating on the younger generation. Shyne later told Meek Mill that Cassidy is out-performing him in their feud. Once Meek Mill addressed the streets, Shyne backed off, complimenting the Philadelphia rapper for his music and business moves.
