There were several major debuts in 2012 that were long-awaited. Two years ago, Meek Mill caught the attention of the rap game with his mixtapes. Friendly with Rick Ross on Twitter, Meek Mill soon signed with Maybach Music. In 2011, Meek Mill released his Dreamchasers mixtape, which was met with strong critical reviews.

But, in 2012, Meek Mill made his official solo debut. Meek Mill coincided with Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz, who were both big for different reasons. Three very different artists dominated hip hop in their rookie years. But, it was Meek Mill who stuck out, as his story of overcoming the obstacles to rise to stardom stuck with fans.

Meek Mill earned gold off Dreams and Nightmares, primarily because he lives both. But, in order to live both dreams and nightmares, Meek Mill knows “dreams come true.” Now, Meek Mill is preparing another tour, this one titled the “Dreams Come True” tour. In four days, tickets go on sale and the tour officially launches on April 4 in Boston.
