By 2012, Meek Mill was the hottest emerging rapper in the game. Three years later, Meek Mill had a summer anthem, in “All Eyes on You,” featuring Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj.

Meek Mill joined Roc Nation, early in his career. Having the mentorship of Jay-Z helped push Meek Mill into a new level, with his music and his career. After Meek Mill nearly lost his initial money, he managed to score a label deal for his Dreamchasers label. As a result, Meek Mill signed a slate of artists to the label.

Meek Mill recently left Roc Nation, but he said it was all love. In addition, Meek Mill has Michael Rubin advising him, when it comes to the business. Recently, Meek Mill has pointed out some of his grievances with the business. On Twitter, Meek Mill vented about how fake the people within the business can be. While he did not name anyone by name, Meek Mill’s fans think he may have been sending shots at his former team. After Meek Mill said he likes being around regular people, he said the industry is about brotherhood, until a person wants tips on how to make money.
