B. Simone has been getting cancelled all over social media the last two weeks. First, it started with her saying that people should “pray for the enemy” in regards to people who contribute to racism and police brutality in America. Earlier this week, she said that she wouldn’t date a man with a regular 9-5 job because they wouldn’t understand her lifestyle and how entrepreneurs should only date entrepreneurs.
Simone has been getting backlash for the lack of quality on her ‘Baby Girl: Manifest the Life You Want’ book as well for how it was put together along with the $35 price. Now, social media is after her after different bloggers came forward claiming that Simone plagiarized their material. This all comes after she became a millionaire in April.
Meek Mill has now taken to Twitter in defense of Simone. He said “B Simone canceled because she finnesed a book and made her way from the bottom lol what major companies y’all cancel for ripping our culture off?” The MMG rapper added that “Finding ways to display hate towards our own when they start doing good is showing amongst us a lot!”
Social media has since disagreed with Meek and is holding Simone accountable for her plagiarism. Simone was one of the most loved Internet and Wild ‘n Out personalities for a while now but it appears that she is quickly losing her fan base by the day. Check out the bloggers coming forward about her along with Meek’s tweet below.
Would love for @TheBSimone to STOP taking small content creators’ hardwork and selling it as her own!!!
Disgusting. This is not entrepreneurship. This is PLAGIARIZING. pic.twitter.com/CCSQ88A85e
