Meek Mill is glad Rick Ross and Jeezy ended beef

Meek Mill 14A decade ago, the rap game was still being defined by the 50 Cent/Ja Rule beef. By 2004, the beef grew to include the aforementioned Queens rappers, along with DMX, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Game, Fat Joe, and even R. Kelly. A lot was made out of the beef, but only a few rappers remained relevant.

Rick Ross ended up being a rival of 50 Cent due to his ties with Fat Joe and their situation is ongoing. But, Rick Ross made bigger headlines over his beef with his former friend and supporter, Jeezy. The beef started after Jeezy made his own freestyle over the “BMF” track, which Ross did with Styles P.

Surprisingly, last night, Rick Ross put photos up on Instagram of him in the studio with Jeezy. He also announced Jeezy will appear on his “War Ready” single, the third off Mastermind, which is due on March 4. At one point, Meek Mill was almost at the center of the beef, due to his ties with fellow Philadelphia native, Tone Trump, and now that it’s over, Meek tweeted about how glad he was.
