This AM, Hot 97 was going in for the win, as the Meek Mill freestyle with Funkmaster Flex was released. The hip hop world woke up to see Funk Flex trending. Usually, when he’s trending, they don’t panic, they go check for any freestyles.
Meek Mill was in the building, so fans already knew to expect a dope freestyle from him. Three years ago, though, fans weren’t feeling Flex, after he so boldly sided with Meek, against Drake. He dedicated a lot of time, himself to dissing Drake, like he wasn’t a radio DJ.
Finally getting that demon off his back, Meek Mill hit Hot 97 and did his freestyle. To kill the demon, he jumped on “Back to Back” and killed the freestyle, which has people talking. Fans say the old Meek is back and they are shocked to hear Flex issue an APOLOGY to Drake, for his actions in 2015.
