This week, Meek Mill managed to take over the news when he revealed some information. Despite having a good relationship with Drake, someone who often popped up on his singles, Meek Mill called him out. In a series of tweets, Meek Mill said Drake doesn’t write his own rhymes.
Meek Mill taking shots at Drake was odd for various reasons. Not only is he on good terms with Drake, Rick Ross is also a frequent collaborator. It was all minor in comparison to Meek Mill’s girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, who is on the same label as Drake, Young Money.
Last night, Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj performed in Virginia. This is where Meek Mill decided to clear the air, first saying that people should allow Drake to be great. But, he went on to apologize to Nicki Minaj, on stage, for making the comments he made about her partner in rhyme.
