Thursday night is Game 5 of the 2022 World Series, between the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies. The series is tied up at 2-2. Game 5 is taking place in Philadelphia.

Prior to the the game at Citizens Bank Park, though, home town star Meek Mill made an appearance. There, he performed his classic “Dreams & Nightmares” song. This was initially released in 2012, but is still played everywhere, as if it was still brand new. The crowd in Philly was electric tonight, as this energy added on to the Phillies’ fans wanting to become a game closer to winning the World Series.

This summer, Meek also announced that he’s a fully independent artist now. This week, he revealed that another installment of his “Flamerz” mixtape series is on the way, too. This is part of Meek’s planned upcoming 10-mixtape run. This month, Meek is going to hold a “Dreams & Nightmares” 10-year anniversary album release concert, in Philly. This debut album was initially released in October 2012, back when Meek was starting to soar to stardom.
