Meek Mill previews intro to “Flamerz 5” mixtape
Over the last month, Meek Mill has been previewing upcoming “Flamerz 5” mixtape. This comes three months after revealing that he’s an independent artist now, and is planning on a huge 10-mixtape run. Meek had previously been signed to Atlantic Records, and Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group.
Meek has since finalized a November 21 release date, for Flamerz 5. On Monday night, the Philly rapper went on to preview the intro to this project, on Twitter and Instagram, as it contains a sample of Survivor’s classic “Eye Of The Tiger” song. The release of Flamerz 5 will come a little over a year after the release of his fifth studio album, “Expensive Pain.” That went on to see a number three debut, in the US.
On November 26, Meek is also holding a “Dreams & Nightmares” 10-year anniversary concert, in his hometown of Philadelphia. This is to celebrate that debut album, which was released in October 2012. That project contained Meek’s classic “Dreams & Nightmares” intro. Meek is also planning to have this Dreams & Nightmares concert expanded to other cities, as well. He labeled the Philly concert as a”celebration for anybody who got a chance to experience the energy of the intro.”
