Meek Mill Receives Nelson Mandela Humanitarian Award

Meek Mill has been making huge impacts in the justice system over the past three years. He helped launch REFROM Alliance with Jay Z, Philadelphia 76ers Co-Owner Michael Rubin, and New England Patriots Owner, Robert Kraft. This was done in order to fight injustices within the criminal justice system.

Meek has definitely been putting in the work here, and now, received a huge accomplishment. This evening, the Philly rapper took to his Instagram feed to announce that he was given the Nelson Mandela Humanitarian award. Meek was thankful for receiving this award, as well as saluting the late Nelson Mandela.

This also comes as this week, Meek put out the visuals for his new “War Stories.” Many anticipate that Meek may finally put out his fifth studio album before 2021 is up. HIs previous project was his “Quarantine Pack” in November 2020.
