Not in years has there been this much energy surrounding Philadelphia’s hip hop scene and it is because of Meek Mill. There is a lot of talent in the city, and Meek Mill has helped shed light to all of these talented artists. Rick Ross signed Meek Mill to Maybach Music and a bidding war for the label began.
Meek Mill getting signed is what many believe led Young Jeezy to sign Tone Trump to his rising label, Corporate Thugz. Due to Meek Mill and Tone Trump knowing each other outside of their labels, the two have said the beef does not extend to them. But, there are a lot of enemies for Rick Ross.
Rick Ross’ enemies almost got the best of him when he was shot at in Miami. Meek Mill has talked about the shooting before, but Sway Calloway asked him again when he talked to “Sway in the Morning.” In addition to talking about the impact Rick Ross’ shooting has had on Maybach Music Group, as a whole, he also talked about his beef with Cassidy.
