This summer, Meek Mill’s controversy continued and it wasn’t just Cassidy. Going in on several artists, Meek Mill ended up facing off against Gillie Da Kid, Cyssero, and members of AR-AB’s camp say there are hard feelings there too. Meek Mill is hot right now and is establishing his presence without Rick Ross.
Kendrick Lamar mentioned Meek Mill, among many more, on Big Sean’s “Control” song and told him to step his game up. At first, Meek Mill backed off it and looked like he wasn’t even going to diss him back. All of that changed when Meek Mill unleashed his response to Cassidy, “Kendrick You Next,” and then “Ooh Kill ‘Em.”
Meek Mill stopped by MTV yesterday and he talked about his disses. Of course, there is no love lost with Cassidy, but Meek Mill said he is helping him out when he engages his beef. But, in the case of Kendrick Lamar, he made sure he was respectful to him, saying they discussed his diss at Jay-Z’s NYC party and he hinted at a new album.
