Meek Mill talks wanting to take Jay-Z’s spot and probation struggles with Hot 97 [VIDEO]

Yesterday, Meek Mill was in New York City and he decided to make his rounds with the media while he was in town. There are plenty of reasons for Meek Mill to frequent New York City, because of all of his connections. Being a big rapper in the game and being managed by Roc Nation are big reasons to be in town.

Meek Mill has overcome a lot to be in his current position and he is continuing to defy the odds. Everywhere he goes, Meek Mill is representing for Philadelphia, even if he wants to spend more time outside of the city. As he is recording this new music, he has high hopes, which include overtaking Jay-Z.

Hot 97 hosted Meek Mill on the morning show yesterday and he spoke on his goals of taking Jay-Z’s spot in the game. This part of the conversation had Meek Mill harken back to last summer, when Kendrick Lamar did “Control.” In the interview, Meek Mill also spoke on his probation struggles.
