Meek Mill teases tracklist for sequel to “Championships” album
Meek Mill hints at sequel to “Championships” album
It’s been a while since Meek Mill has released a studio album, as that was “Expensive Pain,” back in October 2021. That project contained 18 songs, as well as collaborations with Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, Brent Faiyaz, Kehlani, and more. As a result, Expensive Pain went on to debut at number four in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart.
Meek has since gone independent, and his last project was his “Flamerz 5″ mixtape, last fall. However, his album hiatus may be coming to an end soon. On Wednesday, he took to his Instagram stories to post a tracklist for what appears to be a sequel to his 2018 “Championships” album.
The title for this album on Meek’s iTunes says “Championships 2: Don’t Follow The Heathens.” Therefore, 31 total songs were included in this playlist but, it’s till unclear if that will be the exact amount of songs on Championships 2. Furthermore, an official release date for this album also hasn’t been publicly made available yet.
